MBD laser cutting files are produced in hardcopy and electronic formats. once the drawing is produced it can be used indefinitely for the production of component parts.

Burn marks can be indicated on the drawing to mark drilled hole positions used where the hole diameter is less than the material thickness.

Edge nick marks can be added to the laser drawing to mark folding line positions.

After drawing approval is secured an electronic file is e-mailed to the laser cutting firm for them to load into their specialist software.

The laser drawing is scaled at 1:1 and generally only needs one dimension, this is used as a check by the machine operator.

Other machines such as cnc plasma and high pressure water cutters can also use the same file format.
